How subsites can work for you

Subsites help organise promotional material on your website. It is like having a seperate brochure for each product or service you supply.

Each subsite has the same number of pages and the same structure.

The subsites are accessed through a contents page which has a description of each subsite and a small picture.

Below are the first 2 pages of the Diving and Sepik River subsites they have the same layout for each subsite.

This provides consistency in your website and you will find it easier to handle the information after the subsites have been set up.

You can choose any page type except an enquiry form when you are setting up the template for your subsites.


Each page in the subsite can be linked to an enquiry form.

Lexus (www.lexus.com/models/index.html) uses subsites to sell its different car models. There is too much information on each models to go on one page so they have a set of pages. Lexus is a more sophisticated website than Auz.it provides but organises its information using the same subsite method.
